UpCity

about

hi! we’re a team of three MSc students from Romania, Adrian Buzgar, Calin Juravle and Andreas Resios. we’ve developed the UpCity platform during the Imagine Cup 2009 competition. we were fortunate enough to get the 1st prize in the Software Design finals of the competition, which took place in Cairo this year.

this blog is our own little corner where you’ll find our story, info about our project(s) and generally how UpCity hopefully evolves into something that solves problems for communities around the world.

hi! we haven’t updated the blog in months, so much of the project description is still missing. this will get fixed once it goes live. we’ve made a gps client for representatives in the field so that they can monitor reported issues or for instance get directions to the closest one and add a status report (including photos at the site). that’s the windows mobile app.
